These are the terms under which you use theurbandori.com and buy from us. By placing an order, you accept them.

1. Who we are

The Urban Dori is owned and operated by Saloni Bajaj (sole proprietor), Sector 31, Gurugram, Haryana 122001, India. GSTIN06GKZPS0528C1ZS.

2. Products

Every piece on this site is hand-made. Small variations in colour, weave and dimensions are normal and don’t count as defects. We do our best to colour-correct product photography to match the real piece, but screens vary.

Stock is updated in real time but, rarely, a piece may sell out between the moment you add it to your cart and the moment you pay. In that case we will refund you in full, same-day.

3. Prices & payment

  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹), inclusive of GST.
  • Payments are processed on HDFC Bank’s secure SmartGateway payment page. You can pay by UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM) or by debit/credit card.
  • Your card and UPI credentials are entered only on HDFC’s hosted page — we never see or store them. We receive only a payment confirmation from the bank.
  • Your order is reserved for up to 30 minutes while payment is completed. If the bank doesn’t confirm payment within that window, the reservation is released and the items return to stock.
  • If you are charged but your order doesn’t confirm, we refund you in full to the original payment method.

4. Promo codes

Promo codes are non-transferable, can’t be combined with other offers, and may be subject to minimum order values or expiry dates as shown at checkout. We may withdraw any code at any time without notice.

5. Shipping & exchanges

See our Shipping Policy and Exchange Policy for the full details. We do not offer returns or refunds for change-of-mind.

6. Intellectual property

All photography, copy, designs and brand marks on this site are owned by The Urban Dori. You may not copy, resell or redistribute them. Artisan designs are the joint work of the maker and us.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use this site for unlawful purposes.
  • Attempt to bypass security, scrape pricing in bulk, or interfere with site availability.
  • Impersonate another person or use a false name at checkout.

8. Limitation of liability

Our liability for any claim relating to your order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gurugram, Haryana.
